Walk around a working farm before you draw your own

Sunny Meadows is a made-up mixed farm near Olds, Alberta: four paddocks either side of a creek, a hay field, two market gardens, a beef herd, dairy goats and laying hens. Open it and poke at anything.

Things to try

Five minutes on the demo farm

  • Move the beef herd

Open the map, switch to Grazing, and move the herd to the paddock it suggests. Watch the colours change.

  • Draw a field

Tap Add, then Draw a field, and tap four corners anywhere. The acres count up as you go.

  • Log some work

Tap a field, then Log work. Record a load of compost with its cost and see it in the season report.

  • Record a harvest

Open Harvests and record a crate of carrots. It gets a lot number and lands in inventory.

  • Print a label

Pick that harvest in Labels and look at the sheet it would print.

  • Answer an order

There is an order waiting in Orders. Confirm it, or decline it with a note.

The demo is shared by everyone who tries it, and it puts itself back to its starting state regularly — so do not keep anything real in it. It cannot place orders with real farms.
